2025 Update

2025 saw me visit 380 new bars, bringing me to a total of 6,434 bars visited. I continued with my project to visit every bar in Pittsburgh, adding 140 bars visited in the city, bringing my total to 450 bars visited within the city limits. That is about the number of bars that exist at any one time within the Pittsburgh city limits, but as it is a moving target, there are currently about 100 I have not yet visited and I cannot really predict when I will "complete" the project.

Selected County Totals
One of my goals is to visit at least one bar in every municipality in Western PA with at least one bar. I am tracking this by county. (I'm also tracking Bucks County because, while it is further away, it is my favorite county in PA.) In 2025, I got more precise lists by working directly from Pennsylvania Liquor License data and thereby discovered a few more municipalities with bars in several counties, so the totals have shifted a bit from last year.
