2022 Update

2022 was a year of considerable change for us, as we packed up and moved from Seattle to Pittsburgh, settling into our new house on April 29. However, between the cross country, 3,500 mile trip to reach the new home, and getting a jump start on exploring our new home region, I smashed my annual record for new bar visits.

In 2022 I visited 527 bars for the first time, bringing my total recorded bar visits to 4,959. Obviously I will crack 5,000 different bars visited in 2023. In addition, tasks for 2023 include setting up a better web page organization (and domain name) for our new home area, spending more time publishing bar info on the web, continuing to research and compile information about Pittsburgh area bar history in particular, and publishing some web content on the oldest bars in Pennsylvania.
